Trying to convince your dr. U are having nasty side effects is almost impossible, they all think it is in your head. I was put on Baycol after trying Lipitor, and having rotten side effects, and Baycol was even worse. Think I was off it about 8 months when it was pulled off the market. :eek:

I told my dr. from some of the experiences hubby and I had, plus alot of my friends, these things were going to get pulled, and he told me NEVER, they were life savers. YEAH, RIGHT!! Even when U watch tv and see an ad for a statin, they tell U, if U have certain muscle problems etc. etc. report it to your dr., but seems when U do, they ignore ya. Yes, I know folks who take them and do ok, but it is alot less then I hear of folks with nasty effects, but let's face it, the money is the last word. :rolleyes:
