I have a 14 month old with what I thought was a rash on her hip. There were little blisters it was red a rough. Then it started to spread even further up her hip. I took her to the doctor they gave her bactroban I put on her the blisters went away but place got worse. Doctor said staph or skin infection. There were no scrapes on that area or cuts. It started to look black and she started scratching it when in the bath. So I took her back they gave her a steroid cream and put her on ceptra. It doesn't look any better but it does look different it is hard to explain. Does anyone have some ideas what it could be? When she wakes up from a nap or sleeping through the night it is lighter in color they busier she get the more red it gets. Thank you.
