Thought I would share my experience from last week. Went to see my Dr on Wednesday afternoon as the pain from the "cysts" had become unbearable. Come to find out I had been bitten in 6 places by a brown recluse spider. Immediately received an antibiotic injection, keflex to be taken orally 4x a day, bactroban cream and medicine for the pain. I ran over 101 fever for 3 days and it was probably the most pain I have experienced. The reason I am sharing this with you is because not every bump that pops up is acne related... If I had tried to self medicate I would have been in serious trouble.
