That may be a swollen lymph node, or an infected cyst caused by a swollen lymph node, or just a plain ole cyst. I dunno. I had a similar thing but it was more behind my ear at the base. I went to my quack and gave me a cortisone shot and bactroban cream to apply to it thrice daily.
