Last time I went to my derm, I was determined to get accutane. What I got instead was Bactrim, which is an extremely strong sulfide antibiotic. I have to go back in a month to get a blood test, but it seems to work. This type of antibiotic might help you. Many people feel accutane is a last resort, so I wouldnt suggest going down that road unless you've exhausted all possible meds.

Yes, Bactrim worked well for my daughter until it quit but it lasted about a year. NOthing else ever worked as well.
