Eliminate refined foods, fruit juices, caffeine, alcohol, and sugar as well. The also interfere. Take the antacids at least two hours before or six hours after taking the antacid to avoid an interaction.
Cipro did nothing for taking the UTI away but did make my stomach turn. I tried bactrim but my UTI's will still not going anywhere. Cephalexin is about the only one that will rid them for me. I have narrowed down what gives me my UTI. If I consume to much OJ, or coffee I get them with in a week. I was on meds for 6 months straight till my other doc asked me what I was drinking each day. When I told him he said STOP. So I did and so did the UTI's. ANother thing that gives me a UTI is soaking in the bathtub. Sadly no more baths for me as well. Also told me to urinate before and after intercourse so that any bacteria that is present will not get pushed into the bladder opening. Jenteal |
