Hi,

I broke down and called the pain doc, and he did not give me any nausea meds. He just told me to up the dosage of the detox meds he gave.

One is called Clonopine, and it is actually for high Blood pressure! The other is called Baclofen and it is suposed to help with the restless legs and fidgets.

Anyway, I don't know how all that is supposed to help but I will do what he says and if I am not any beter on Monday I will let them know. He said to call then anyway to let him know how I am doing.
He also said that he wants me to stay on the 10 Mg's of Methadone a while longer. On Tuesday I would normally go downanother 5 mg's but he said not to.
I went to a Cocaine Anonymous meeting from 10-11 this morning and wiggled my way through the meeting with only one trip to the bathroom to dry heave!! Yucky!!!
I did some errands after the meeting and felt good enough to eat some soup and now my stomach is really nausiated!! I think I may be close to getting sick as I sit here typing!!!
This sucks, why didn't he give me something to help me relax and something for the nausea!!!
I think I am just going to insist on Monday, because I can't just lock myself in the house and lay here sick, Life must go on!!!
Really I am grateful that I made it through the meeting. I called my sponsor and let her know whats going on as well.
Well what else should I do? Is there anything else that I can do? I am just really frustated and I know that does not help.

It was me who posted about Hazeldon. I get a daily reflection every day and I lve it!! I am glad that you like it to.

I am not increaseing just staying at the 10 mg's longer. I was at a total of 25 mg's and I am now at 10. I was going down 5 mg's a week, but after talking to the Pain Doc yesturday he want me to stay at 10 and not go down to 5 mg's on tuesday. He is stabilizing I guess. He said stay at the 10 mg's and take the detox meds he gave Clonidine 2x a day and the Baclofen 3x aday to try and get the detox symptoms beat before they get out of hand. I will see him a week from Monday unless I need more meds. I gotta call and let him know whats up tomorrow.
We talked about how decreasing is not really an exact science, every person is different. I really like my Doc. He is easy to talk at and is great at explaining things in a way that I understand.
I talked to my 12 step sponsor and she told me that I was givong the nausesa to much power and I agree!! She said I needed to take the power back. I could either sit around being angry at it or accept it as it is and move on. I have now chosen to move on. It just is the way it is.

I think that you were saying in your post Kadee that you did not abuse your meds, correct me if I miss interperted! I did not either! I always followed the Docs directions because of my past history. I have been clean and sober for almost 3 years!!! Yeah!!! If I can make it exactly 3 month from June the 9th I will have the 3 years!!!

Any way thanks for the post. Today is a new day, and I am working on my attitude at the things that happen in life.....Chrissy
