Hi all,
Newbie here! Can't believe I found this forum. I started with nosebleeds about four years ago. Before this, I never in my life had a nosebleed. They happen only in the winter for me. I just assume that since other "mucous membranes" are drying out (if you get my drift), the nose will also dry out. It was also about this time that my eyes started getting a little dry. It took me a few years to relate this to perimenopause, but I know that this has to be the reason. Every morning, I gently apply a little bacitracin ointment, or petroleum jelly inside my nostrils. This keeps everything moist. Saline spray also helps. I used to be finished my shower routine in 10 minutes. Now, it takes me another 10 minutes to lubricate everything that is drying out. ;)
