I've been a happy pumper since October of 2002 (I actually started the pump on Halloween day, lol. I've got a Paradigm 522 (just recently replaced my 515) and use Humalog. Cora...I didn't get the CBGM, but I much prefer the bolus wizard in the 522 because you can program the insulin on board time, which you couldn't do on the 515...it was preset to 6 hours.

Rick...I had a HUGE problem with itching, but it turned out to be the tape, not the insulin. I use IV3000 under the infusion set, and that works pretty well. Occasionally after a full 3 1/2 days, I will get some itching, but it's minor and a bit of bacitracin takes care of it.
