I have acrylic nails with gel....last week I banged my finger into a door and the whole nail cracked...I thought it was just the acrylic, but it turned out that my real nail was also cracked....it was really painful....I have kept a bandaid on it until yesterday when I was able to take the acrylic nail off....I had my nails done today and asked them what to do...they cut the nail and said too short to put tip on it. So I will keep a bandaid on it during the day and keep it off at night...will also put bacitracin on it...Hopefully in 2 weeks when I get my nails done again it will be long enough for a tip....does this all sound right...is there anything else I can do about this???? THanks..
