Over a month ago I developed these pimple-like bumps w/ whiteheads around my belly button, a few on my belly, and a few along my bikini line. I popped the whiteheads, thinking they were probably pimples or insect bites and one of the bumps got infected and swelled (painful). I also got flu-like symptoms (fever, dizziness) and went to my Dr. who cured me w/ antibiotics. (I still have scars from the bumps). Then two weeks later I get the same one or two bumps, but south, right outside of my pubic hair region. No flu symptoms, but one of the bumps got so infected that it turned into an abscess and had to be removed through localized surgery. A week later I discovered similar bumps, but now they are in my pubic region. It has not gotten infected since I've been proactive in putting bacitracin ointment on the bumps. The bumps never itched and only got painful when enlarged and infected. The bumps do not reoccur in the same area, but they are moving south. Bumps are only on my right side of the body and are small individual whiteheads than bump-on-bump clusters. I know you can get herpes on other parts of your body, but I never had these bumps in my vagina, anus, or thigh region. I did make an appointment to see the Dr., but it won't be until next week and I'm extremely worried that it's herpes due to the fact my boyfriend was cheating on me with multiple partners. Does it sound like I may have herpes?
