[FONT="Georgia"][SIZE="3"][COLOR="Teal"]In the past I have been allergic to the macrolide antibiotic erythromycin, not anaphylactic, but relatively severe. I am a transplant recipient of almost 16 years, and a few years ago my immunosuppression medications were changed from Cyclosporin and Azathioprine to Sirolimus and Tacrolimus. I have not been feeling myself since the changeover, but the blood tests don't prove anything wrong, but I discovered yesterday that both of my immunosuppressants are macrolide antibiotics. Is it possible I could be allergic to them also, and that is the reason I'm not feeling well?[/FONT]
