Stress can be a major trigger in Behcets. With me, I have trouble with the slightest amount of undue stress, everything just goes crazy and it is incredibly painful. Once you have a definitive diagnosis of BD, then your dr. will give you the appropriate meds for you to help to keep your symptoms down. I take Imuran (Azathioprine), 50 mg/day and it allows me to function.
I also like to keep my hand in the creative arts as they help one to cope with stress. Good wishes to you, and hang in there...it does get better and now and then you get a bit of a break from symptoms. It's also amazing at how much better you will feel (ironically), once you have been given a definitive diagnosis. Then no one can tell you "it's all in your head," again.
If you keep your chin up, you can't see the shadows.
