2nd opinion and DMDs (Multiple Sclerosis board)

Hey Nikki-
Thanks for the advice. You really helped persuade me because I forgot that MS is considered progressive. I have still not made up my mind, and am going to go over my concerns with my current ms specialist before making a decision. If she is completely convinced that I definately have MS, and there is no remote possibility that it could be anyhing else, I will feel more comfortable starting treatment. I would definately start the treatment if I knew for sure, because I would like to have some control over what happens to me in the long run, or at least feel like I am helping. I've also looked up some of the treatment options, and am not too crazy about injections. I know a little about them, and would definately not take copaxone or anything I have to take on a daily basis. I am considering rebif or avonex but am worried about its toxicity on my liver. My liver enzymes are still high from my gallbladder attack/and surgery back in October and do not want to put anything in my system that could further affect it. We'll see tomorrow when I get the results.
Tara
