yes your endo is right about getting rid of body hair you need higher doses if you have a greater amount of body hair than just to get rid of acne.i had severe acne til i went on spiro but it has been 2 years almost to todays date an my skin no longer breaks outs.this is after 2 failed courses of accutane.by the way my doctor told me spiro doesnt prevent male hair loss but combined with avodart will stop hair loss and may actually grow hair.anyways i see spiro getting used more and more in acne once the word gets out.i know if you are seeing a endo you must be getting a blood and liver analysis.if you do go on 200 mgs and your body feels funny you might cut down to 100 mgs and call your endo.while not a huge amount 200 mgs is still more than the normal person but everyone is different and some people have been on 600 mgs a day without any serious side effects but in the most cases 100 mgs is about the avg....some a little higher some lower.
