Hey mem, I think ur referring to avodart. I don't think any studies were ever done to prove it effectiveness against acne. Also the possible side effects listed for avodart is exactly the same as it is for spiro.

As for saw palmetto, I tried it about 2 years ago and never noticed any real improvement. I don't think I gave it enough time to work though, I only used it for about 30 days. Thanks for helping o/
