I can give you first hand experience regarding Levaquin

I took it with Prednisone for a sinus infection 4 years ago. I then took some Avelox, which is a drug in the same family.

I ended up in the hospital with vascillitis, peripheral neuropathy, torn tendons in my wrists, chronic tendonitis in legs, and horrible insomnia. I was sent into rehabilitation for 6 months. The total cost of this ordeal came to over $20,000.

3 years later, I still struggle with nerve and tendon problems. The latest is strained ligaments in both feet -related? Don't know.

If you take Levaquin with Prednisone, it increases the chance of an adverse reaction 10 fold. They are NOT suppossed to be taken together. If your doctor tells you otherwise, he is lying. It's on the package.

Don't take this stuff. Get into an irrigation routine and treat the underlying allergy.
