I've been saying this for a couple years now. I took Levaquin & Avelox in early 2004, and ended up with permanent nerve damage in my elbows, neuropathy, vasculitis, chronic tendonitis in my legs, massive insomnia, muscle fascillations, and more.

These drugs are extremely dangerous, and they are not "antibiotics." Technically, the are chemotheraputic agents -designer drugs. Avelox and Tequin have been given the "Black Triangle" in England, denoting dangerous drugs that require strict government supervision.

Count yourself lucky. You could be in a wheelchair or dead after taking Levaquin.

I took 2 samples of Avelox and by the second dose I was taken to hospital for rapid heart beat, shortness of breath, confusion, interrupted central nervous system, anxiety, and muscle tightness and shaking. The ER Dr. that saw me said my symptoms were not caused by Avelox. He made me feel stupid and that I brought on my own panic attack. That was yesterday. I wish I would have known the side effects. I'm thankful I didn't have a seizure or have any convulsions as I have read those are about the only side effects I didn't have. Today I'm feeling a little stiff and lightheaded. Any suggestions?
