My husband just finished a ten day prescription of Avelox. He had a bad reaction to some kind of bug bite. It cleared up within 2 days of starting the Avelox. He didn't seem to suffer any side effects. Hope this helps.

It's a very strong antibiotic, and many people have adverse reactions to it. However, it's very effective at clearing infection. |
