Paddy, yes endos also treat diabetes. My endo takes care of my thyroid problem and my diabetes. If you are on a thiazide (hctz) for bp, then yes your glucose and your cholesterol will be increased. I find this out the hard way. MaYBE YOU DR can give you a water pill that is not a thiazide. I have stopped taking the hctz and just take the avapro and verapamil for bp.
