Quote from Crossbow:Ah. I like the "Paleofood" diet, but it's so hard to avoid processed food. Very sensible, though. I wish I had the self-control to follow it.
I'm gluten intolerant, but I have to have dairy. If I don't, I get really bad cramps, even if I take calcium supplements. I'm also hypoglycemic, so I hate to eliminate any source of protein!
Oh, and speaking of sardines, not only great for protein and fatty acids, but also a wonderful source of calcium. i have a great recipe for sardine tapenade, basically sardines, olive oil, olives, and garlic. Even people who hate sardines end up liking it. I'll have to post it when I get home (I'm at work).
wow, that's interesting. I had read somewhere that eliminating gluten would eliminate idiopathic cramps. My cramps were only the evil menstrual ones, but eliminating gluten eliminated that. However, I also noticed that if I had more sugar prior to, my cramps would appear ever so subtly for the first 2 days. So maybe it's sugar (candy, chocolate candy) that's causing these cramps??? I initially noted improvement in my cramps when I was on Avandia, what drug are you taking for your Hypoglycemia? Also, I have heard that taking a calcium supplement w/magnesium elevates back pain though. What does yoru calcium supplement contain??
Oh and the BIGGEST question would be, how is your acne now? Before Gluten and after gluten elimination?
Thanks =)
