Went to my new doctor in Florida yesterday and he prescribed Avandamet to me. So I started with one a day for the first week and then twice a day. He plans to put me on Byetta in two weeks when he sees me again. And of course he wants me to lose weight, so no carbs for me...doctor's orders. I'm a little worried about the byetta because it's an injection and I hate needles. Also anybody taking avandamet have a decrease in appetite? I haven't been feeling as hungry this past two days. I know the Dr said the Byetta will decrease appetite, but didn't mention that the avandament would.
