I have been testing a little bit higher lately. Around 180 now, but still not too far off. I went to the doctors again today and he prescribed Avandamet . He also did a Cholesteral blood test a few days ago and found my Thyroid numbers to be a little high. I guess anytime that you are above 4, to start noticing. I was 20. So they retested today, so if the numbers come back the same, he is going to put me on meds for it.

Reason being, I continue to be tired and sleep 17 hours of the day sometimes. I guess it can cause lathargy, but he did mention depression and stress as well as a culprit. I have to agree with that to a point. I wish not, but sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees, so I'm trying to be honest with myself.

I've also been twitchy lately. Not sure if thats related to just diabetes or meds or what. Anyone else ever feel twitchy?

I got a call today to schedule me with a professional who is going to teach me about diet and all that , so I'm pretty excited.
