For four days I felt like I had an ear infection. I went to the doctor and they said I have an infection in my Mastoid bone. They gave me a shot of antibiotics and now I'm taking Augmentin XR. The doctor told me that there was no worry about the infection spreading to my brain, that the infection wasn't going anywhere because of the antibiotics. Is that right? I'm scared, I can't help it. I have huge anxiety issues. Someone who's gone through, or is going through this, please help!
