Last July I had a terrible sore throat that lasted a few weeks, I had swollen glands and white spots on my tonsils. I went to urgent care and was told the strep test was neg, but given Zithromax. In october i returned to doc office because the white junk was still there, draining out of the tonsils from the top edges and white spots on them. Strep test was neg, other bateria tests were neg, they could not get anything to grow ( as far as i know)
was given 20 days of augmentin. In november still had the tonsil problem, and was given 20 days of levaquin.

There has been no change in the appearance of my throat and tonsils. One side is worse than the other, pitted and larger, this is the one that has more pus coming from it.

My ears hurt all the time and feel like they are full, my tonsils drain junk all the time. I had ONE swollen gland this whole time that is almost gone, but has been there the whole time. I occasionally have a mild sore throat, nasal and sinus pain, but no signs of a sinus infection.

I also had my ears checked and the hearing person said that they did not appear to be causing the dizzyness, but yet the constantly hurt. On a scale of 1 to 10 constanly a 1 but jumps up to a 4 or 5 from time to time.

I think that i maybe allergic to tylenol as well. I thought that i had a fever all the time, but noticed that it happens alot after taking the tylenol. My face will flush and ears flush and turn red and get very hot, making me feel sicker.
very strange i know.

I am 31 years old and other wise am in good health. blood tests have been normal, low chorlesteral, ALT levels fine, cbc normal, blood sugar normal,
I had all the thyroid tests done to the tune of 3000 dollars, but nothing came of that.

Could all my problems be related to the tonsils???? If it is not strep what could it be?????

Any thoughts or advise are appreaciated.
