i have 3 children and am scheduled for a tubal reversal on wednesday (17th). i am on atenolol for fast heart rate and mitral valve prolapse. so i am not pregnant, but want to have another in the future. my question is what beta blocker can you take when your pregnant. my cardiologist's nurse said atenolol is safe during pregnancy, but all of the reports i have read says it causes harm to baby. so i am scared. has anyone taken bb while pregnant?
