brat.....I have very similar problems. My doctor just prescribed Atarax. Last night, for the first night in a week, I was absolutely fine. I took 25 mgs as prescribed. No waking up in a jolt - no attacks - just getting up to urinate and then being able to go back to sleep easily. I am shocked and happy. So do a search on Atarax and see if its for you. I think it's really a benign medication because I am very pill sensitive and I only feel slightly tired this morning. I would never take anything else - like antidepressants for fear of side effects. Check it out - you may be pleasantly surprised as I am.
