   Chronic Bad Breath (General Health board)

12th July 2006
Hi, Tinkerbell;
I am sorry a b your disappiontment. It's demoralizing with this endless illness. Having your hopes of a cure being crushed make things worse. I continue to live with PND, severe nasal congestion, and poor sense of smell but at lease my BB condition has reduced to a point where I am not consumed 24/7. I do hock-up yellow mocuous each morning from back of my throat and upper nasal passages. Yellow is bacteria, so I don't have sinus infection, just infestation on my tongue. Maybe the nasal spray that I use, Astelin, has something to do with it. Honestly, I was hoping that the Tung brush would help alleviate all of our struggles with BB. It takes away my joy knowing you, victim, noptical, and many others like us, continue to live in agony and emotional pain due to our BB. :mad: Even though I never met any of ya'll, I feel invested in your struggles b/c you know how it feels to walk in my shoes. I tend to be a very pestimistic person, especially when I am feeling down and hopeless due to BB, I think to myself that I must had lead a miserable life that somehow reincarnated to carry out my punishment through experiencing BB. Even thought, I don't believe in reincarnation, I can't escape, there's no freedom til the end. But that's not true, there is always HOPE. :wave: Please, Tinkerbell, don't give into discouragement and self-pity. Continue to use the tung brush as much as you can. At least you are doing the best you can to rid bacteria from way, way, back of your tongue. The things that we have no control over, will we let it be. Again, work/clean your tongue around the gag/reflex area. I don't gag anymore due to years of poking and messing w my tongue. I continue to experience positive reactions from others, and not them stepping away from me or displaying disgusted reactions when talking to me. In fact the other day, a girl at Barns and Noble helped me to find a book. She was very friendly to me, smiled and gave me such pleasant eye contact which made me feel so accepted. Normally, well... you know how it goes when they detect BB odor. My tongue continues to be pink and fresh; plasant. Take care. I will continue to visit this site b/c it has become my lifeline and a safe place for me to process my life w BB.
