With Asmanex, you are actually supposed to put the inhaler in your mouth. It's a steriod inhaler, not a rescue. I've been using it for four months and haven't had any side effects from it. Most of the time, I can't even tell that I've inhaled anything at all. Have you tried using some kind of pre-brush rinse (like Plax) after inhaling and then brushing your teeth? That's what I've been doing and it seems to work. Hope you're feeling better soon.
