I just joined last night. My GYN doctor did some out-patient surgery and then had me go for blood work a day later after the surgery. They called me and said I had anemia. Well, yesterday, I woke up and thought someone had punched me in my ribs on both sides. It hurt to breathe. I feel a bit better today, but I was reading that may be from the anemia. This board has been wonderful! Yesterday I had to go and get my Ferron level and Hemoglobin levels done. I guess I will find out in a few days what they are. I was diagnosed with Chron's Disease just a few months ago. I am wondering if that is causing the anemia. I have to take Asacol 3x a day and was never anemic before.
