I was on straight ... from a synthroid/cytomel combo that I was moved onto armour . We only moved my armour up in tiny little steps so ... sometimes made things seem bad with both the synthroid and armour .
Now that I've been on armour since last March ... couple of weeks in. The cytomel was too harsh for me, armour seems softer somehow... but I've heard just the opposite...
... enough some nasty acid reflux. My endo suggested I try Armour to see if it would make a difference in how I felt ... . He switched me to 90mcg or 1 1/2 grains of Armour , that's close to an equivalent dose of my synthroid ... days I felt pretty good. But as I continued to take Armour , I started to get some heart palps, edginess, and ... it up. So many others here had such success with Armour , I wanted that success too. I admit that I probably ... and my fault; I didn't want him to take me off of Armour so I continued for several more weeks trying to adjust ... to it.
After taking Armour for about 8 weeks, the heart palps increased in frequency ... Of course the emergency people had never heard of Armour , and had no idea about anything to do with T3. They ... what happened and he thought it was probably that Armour 's ratio of T3 to T4 is too much for me. He put me ... 100 mcg. for a while and get me stabalized after the Armour episode. He said we'd increase the synthroid back ... cytomel but they aren't nearly as bad as they were with Armour . I have stuck it out for a month on the cytomel/synthroid ... run it is successful.
Anyway, I found out that Armour is not the answer for me. I wish it were. If you ... find that Armour just isn't for you, try the cytomel/synthroid route...
