Why do I feel so awful?? (General Health board)

2nd March 2008
It started about 2 weeks ago. I woke up three nights in a row with MAJOR night sweats....I have not slept past 3:45(time I wake up every night now) Now more sweats but I am nauseas off and on, my brain feels like it is under water and very spacey plus heart palpatations off and on and I LOVE a glass of Red wine every night and this has been makeing me feel even Worse!
I am also EXAHUSTED!!! I NEVER drink caffeine as I deal with anxiety and I am needing it to stay awake. Anyone have any suggestions or maybe tests I should ask my dr for?
meds:
Armour thyroid 1 grain
klonopin .5 x3 daily
hydroclorthiazide 75 mg

I need to feel better fast!

Hi Fusion,

You might have a virus. The night sweats can be a symptom. This is a nasty virus going arond and it effects people in so many different ways.
You might go see your doctor to make sure.

It could be the starting of menopause.

Another thing that can cause the sweats is our sleepclothing or sheets. If you have purchased new sleep wear or sheets that are not 100% cotton, the fiber material may not breathe and let your prespiration dry.

Percale or part polyester or flannel bed linens can make one sweat.
