Just heard on TV that makers of Fosomax are being sued because of lack of warning on meds that it can cause jaw necrosis( bone dying in the jaw) this is not new as there have been reports over a number of years about these drugs causing this. My endocrinologist said it was no longer a problem but I chose not to take the Aredia IV's which is in the same class( biphosphate). I cannot take it by mouth. Watch your TV as I think this law suit came out just today. Just a heads up.
