   arthritis in feet (Arthritis board)

5th February 2007
Dear Sammi2

I have Psoriatic Arthritis, diagnosed two years ago. It is in my fingers, wrists, elbows, chest bone, spine, knees, ankles and toes. My toes are extremely painful and i only have to walk a few feet and they dislocate, they then bruise, and hurt for days. I am on Arava (Leflunomide), Diclofenac, Propanolol, and Omezaprole (for stomach). The drugs are DMARDS and strong and cause many side effects, and I am waiting forthe arthritis to subside. If you have had Psoriassis at any point in time, you may have this form of arthritis. It is very frustrating, I feell ill a lot of the time, and I hate it. I am 49 now and find slowing down very annoying. If you have any further questions please ask.
