Hi there, sorry this is getting back late, but I was on Apri for two years. The bc itself did not cause weight gain but my increase in appetite led me to gain about 20 lbs. If you can control your eating, you shouldn't have a problem. The only reason I noticed this is because I switched to Yaz three months ago and I no longer have the awful cravings and constant hunger like I did with Apri. I've lost 5 lbs already just from my eating habits going back to normal.

I gained about 15 pounds on apri after about 7 months. I had some break though bleeding. and my periods where a little off and heavy. They say that most women take awhile to get pregnant after taking birth control (not for apri) I stop taking apri at the end of april 2007 I found out i was pregnant at 8 weeks pregnant at the end of june 2007. I also took necon 1/35 for over 3 years i love no bereak though bleeding i gain maybe about 5 pounds the whole time was taking it. Since i had my baby i was think about loestrin fe 1/20 since i heard it heard you little to no period. Anyone switching to loestrin????
