I think it just depends on the person. I gained 10 lbs on Apri. I stopped using them in Feb and have lost about 5 lbs.

I never gained on Apri but I gained 22lb on Loestrin FE 24. It varies per person. What works for one can reek havoc on others. All you can do si try them and see how they react with your body. Some pills have caused cause weight gain, hair loss, acne, swollen breasts, mood sings for some women while others will take the same pill and not have any side effects.
