I wouldnt give up hope on BCPs just yet. Ortho just doesnt work for alot of people, but it doesnt mean that other BCPs wont work. OTC & OTC-Lo are a nightmare! OTC-Lo made be break out so bad that my face is scarred worse than ever! I would still use the Duac... but try another brand of BCP with different hormones. I went on Apri (Desogen generic) and I love it... no "initial breakout" like OTC or Yasmin. BCP is a trial and error thing... just like topicals... you just have to find the right one.

I am on my first month of OTC-Lo and haven't really seen any major difference in my skin...but I know it takes time to decide if it is right for you. I have unfortunately had a few extra pimples along my jawline and 1 big one on my forehead, but I think it is b/c I am due for my period next week.

I also just started using Duac at the same time, and I like it so far (way better than Retin-A micro...plus it rubs in clear!!). So hopefully the 2 prescriptions together will keep me clear! Thanks for the posts everyone! :)
