Are you a pumper? (Diabetes board)

I no longer use Humalog because Lilly's fluid causes my skin to react, red and itchy by the 2nd day. I'm pretty happy with Novo, but also use Apidra on the very hottest and coldest of days because it's supposed to 'flow' through the infusion set tubing a bit better.

I never experienced any timing difference or 'bio-availability' difference between the 3 products, although others say that they get significant differences.

Rick, I've heard good things about Apidra, and see my endo tomorrow, so I was thinking about asking for a sample. But really, Novolog works fine for me, and Apidra is tier 3, compared to Novolog and Humalog at tier 2.

Exactly the same as my $$$ sitation: My 'bad weather' Apidra bottles are generously supplied Aventis Rep --> Endo --> Rick samples, the cost would REALLY HURT at my dosage levels.

So for now, I save it just for especially hot or skiing days.
