Among some other stuff I am on Lamictal, a mood stabilizer that also has antidepressant qualities. That was mentioned.
I didn't see anyone mention Anafranil (generic is called clomipramine). I am also on that. It, like Lamictal, is a mood stabilizer with antidepressant qualities. Years ago, when I started it, I was in a depressive phase. 48 hours later, it felt like a cloud had lifted. Yet it caused me no mania. Worth checking out.
