Yeah...it's an amphetamine. It's highly addictive to those that do not have ADD. It's like "speed" and makes some people high-I guess. For us with ADD it has kind of an opposite effect and allows us to focus and slow-down. At least that's what I've heard. It's a bit of a pain when it comes to getting it filled if your doc is out of town! That happened to me one time- my doc was on vacation for 2 weeks and neglected to tell me! There was NO WAY they were going to fill it. I acually had to set up an appointment with another doctor from another practice and have him do an evaluation-then he wrote me a script.Ugh!
