My 13 year old daughter has been sick for about 2 in a half weeks. She is extremely tired and can barely stand up or walk. Her neck glands are swollen and painful. Her underarm glands are very painful. Her chest hurts alot. When she breathes in and coughs and even normally. She had chest x-rays done last week and she doesn't have pneumonia or tuberculosis. Also her chest sounds almost clear so it's probably not broncitis. She coughs and the pediatrician put her on amoxicillin. She's been taking that for 5 days now. It helps the cough but not the rest of the pain. She felt Ok yesturday but she woke up today with horrible chest, back and neck pain. Her ribs also hurt her. Walking to much or just up the stairs is hard for her and she breathes heavy. I am taking her back to the doctors for the third time and probably will get more bloodwork. Any one know what it could be? I am worried and I am unsure whether she should go to school tomorrow. She missed all of last week from whatever she has.
