Wow, well, it goes to show you, some of the newer drugs can be a bit testy on some people, that really sux!

Actually, the last time I needed antibiotic some years ago, I asked if I could have amoxicillin, an older antibiotic that I never had a bit of trouble with, even though Z-pack didn't bother me, I prefer older drugs because they just seem less of a hassle.

My doc didn't seem to mind my request. I didn't like taking it for 10 days though...

I prefer amoxicillin as well because I never had side effects, even though you have to take it longer. The Z-pack KILLED my stomach. I had cramps and the runs every day I was on it! Not worth it to me, plus I had this AWFUL taste in my mouth the whole time....yyyyeeeccchhhh.
