My five-year-old son was recently diagnosed with lyme disease. He had fourteen of the bull's eye rashes on his upper thighs and buttocks. He has since done a course of 21 days of amoxicillin but I'm wondering if it can reoccur or if there can be any secondary infections involved with this. He was initially misdiagnosed twice (as a crazy mom actually) before the rash and a subsequent blood test.
