I can't imagine what that drug would be. I was on Amiodarone for almost 3 years. This is an anitarrhythmic with some very bad side effects and is usually only used as a last resort. It can cause some very serious lung problems. which have to be monitored regularly. It was like a miracle drug for me -- not even one skipped or extra beat. Then one day it stopped working. I don't think most doctors want to give it to young people because you would not want to stay on the drug for many years. (I assume you are young because you have a 2-yr old.) I am interested in finding out what this drug is.
