   Advice Please! (Headaches board)

Oh Sunshine, I am so sorry hun that you are going through this. I would give the antibiotics a couple of weeks to work and then a couple more weeks to kick in. So a month total. Sinus infections can be very hard to get rid of and be reoccuring. If the midrin isn't helping I would call your dr or drs nurse and let them know. There are other types of meds that you can take besides midrin. It sounds like they must have suspected migraine as well since that is the only type of ha midrin is used for. And if that is the case there are other meds that may work such as imitrix, zomig, axert, frova, amerge, maxalt, migranol ask to try one of these. You have a right to be pain free the only way the dr will know you are still hurting is if you tell him. Good luck.

Thanks guys for your help! I'm just feeling so desperate with all these headaches! But do you think I should stick with what I'm doing and just put up with the pain and fatigue, or go back in??? Also, is a shot of toradol temporary? I was offered that instead of Midrin but I'm a baby when it comes to needles, so that would be a last resort...

By the way, I've tried Amerge, Maxalt, and Zomig but they have pretty bad side effects I've noticed.

Thanks again, I appreciate ANYTHING you have to say!
