The only things I know about Januvia are from what I've read while researching diabetic meds. From what I understand, it's used to help increase insulin levels after eating and reduce the amount of sugar your body produces so your blood sugar has less of a spike after you eat. It is an DPP-4 inhibitor, but I don't really know how those work. It seems to have a couple of possible side effects like headache and stomach upset and has the same warning about lactic acidosis that metformin has as well as the "do not use if you have kidney problems" that most of the diabetic meds seem to have. Sounds like it could be a good medication. Sorry it's not first hand knowledge.
The Avandaryl seems like an odd one. It's Avandia and Amaryl in a combo pill. It sounds like you are already taking those two so it sounds like you will be double dosing on them. I'm no doctor but that just seems a little weird if you are taking them individually and in a combo pill.
