My H's doctor had him meet with a dietician; she was quite helpful. I got the impression that at each meeting she'll request he either give up something else or start some sort of anti-recliner activity.
She asked him what he had eaten and had drank the past couple of days.
He told her he likes 8oz of orange juice and drinks 6 cokes. She didn't bat an eye. She said, "could you give up the orange juice? Buy little cups of Orange Sunrise and drink them instead?" AND HE DID IT. For one week he has drunk
Orange Sunrise and one or no cokes a day. Instantly, his nighttime urinating has been cut from 5 times to one or two.
Then I bought him one bottle of DBcare. It contains herbs that people in India and China take for diabetes. It lowered his glucose FIFTY POINTS IN FOUR DAYS but then it just stopped there. 'So now it's an unacceptable 140.
The main ingredient, well worth researching, is bitter melon. He has been on Actos and Amaryl but neither have had the effects , the fast effects, of DBcare.
I am hoping he'll take alpha lipoic acid now but he's difficult.
