I did not phrase my question clearly. What I want to know is Glipizide quicker, shorter life than Amaryl. I take Starlix for a bolus and it works well with me. She tried it and it made her sick. She is starting on Glipizide for the bolus. Has anyone used it as such?

I am LADA also, have been diagnosed as a 2 for a few years. Jan. this year lab test said LADA. Ironically at the same time another doctor without my knowledge did a battery of autoimmune test which all came back positive.

Actos is for insulin resistance and does nothing at all for me.
