   Taking insulin shots now..and it was scarey (Diabetes board)

Anyone else scared the first time to give yourself the shot. The initial stick wasn't bad at first..but stung like heck afterwards. I guess I'll get use to that too. Where does it hurt less? I heard the stomach..roll of fat area there is less painful. I'm taking Lantus...10 units in the evening. Plus still having to take my amaryl in the A.M. and glucophage in the evening.
