i hope they have you on some meds. aggrenox has aspirin in it plus a vaso dilator or plavix or coumadin. altace is suppose to lower the risk for a stroke with this thing too.

well when mine was discovered i had already had a stroke so i was put on coumadin right away. but altace has shown to reduce the risk by like 50% or so (its a blood pressure med). also have them check your homocysteine level. that is what caused mine to go narrow. i would diffinitly go for a second opinion as this is very serious not something to treat nochalantly as it seems your doc is. consider the agrenox too..contains aspirin (25mg in each pill) plus a vasodilator. it causes a lot of headaches forst 2 weeks you take it though. i just know i was put on a whole slew of meds after my basilar artery was found 60% blocked and still it progressed another 30% in less than 18 months.
